Hi Rootschatters,
I located who I think is my greatgrandfather on the Dublin 1911 census, BUT I cannot seem to bring up the actual page even though I have the required PDF, their logo flashes on the screen and nothing comes up. What am I doing wrong?

Have you checked to see if your pop up blocker is switched off
Good luck,

Peggy,
To determine whether the fault lies with your computer settings or the website, why not give us his name so that we can also test it?

Hello Peggy,
I hope that its just your pop up blocker. I did a quick search. James Gallagher aged 63 a hotel servant married to Elizabeth and they have been married for 25 years and have had no children. Elizabeth's sister ( Kate Holohan single aged 72) living with them.
Living in Richmond Cottages in Mountjoy
Best wishes

Thanks for the reply Mo and the info. Guess I`ll have to double check "pop up blocker".

Peggy,
My Pop-up Blocker is turned on (has been for years) and yet I can see the original census image. So I don't think it's got anything to do with it.
Having got the name James Gallagher showing on the screen are you then clicking on 'household return' ? - because that's what's needed to bring up the PDF record.

Try turning it off. If that works you can switch it back on again afterwards.

Thanks T.J., problem solved.
