I've started another topic :)
that's because it's for a different person :)
I have 1851 /61 /71 /81. census's for Henry William Pindar, but I was hoping his wife could be found on the 1891 census.
his marriage was Dec 1881, Gainsborough, possible female's , Sarah Jane Burton or Kate Mayfieldtall.

Hi Eilleen
1891
60 Waterworks St, Gainsborough
Henry PINDAR 32 Joiner, Gainsborough
Sarah J 29 Kexby
John E 9 Gainsborough
William H 7 Gainsborough
Kate Sophia 3 Gainsborough
George W 1 Gainsborough
-
Geoff, thankyou for that.
I see Henry Pindar died aged 38, in 1897, so on the 1901 census his wife should be a widow, unless she married again.

I saw that Geoff but it threw me that Eilleen said she had Henry on 51,61,71 census.

Hi everyone :) more question's ::)
on the 1901 census that Geoff found , a boy named Percy Ar aged 7, was there no surname :)
and can I really be cheeky and as for the details of the servants and boarders :
I see that the Edward Carew who was spending time in Lincoln ::) ::) was about the same age as Sarah's eldest son ,
I have a theory, Sarah murdered my Henry Pindar, married her toy boy the next year, got fed up of him a couple of years later so framed him for some crime or other, then maybe ??? went on to marry someone called H. Wallworks.
where is that time machine ;D

Hi everyone :) more question's ::)
on the 1901 census that Geoff found , a boy named Percy Ar aged 7, was there no surname :)
He was PINDAR, as was Kate.
It was just that I put the servants before William PINDER as that's what it was on the census sheet.

Once again, thankyou Geoff,
I had'nt thought about Percy being Pindar, I tried looking to see if her second husband might have left a son belonging to him with her ;D
The inn looked like it was in for a musical time with that lot staying there ;D
I wonder what sort of place it was ???

Edward CAREW was in the Army (Royal Artillery, in Sunderland) in 1891
He was actually born in 1872.
