Post by: carlT on Tuesday 12 February 08 19:16 GMT (UK)
Hello,
I am looking for Hannah Taylor, born around 1828 to parents William and Jane at Luxborough. She would be around 13 years old
also I have seen two trees showing William and Jane's family one has the children born at Luxborough and the other say's Carhampton. Are these the same place or totally different

Cheers Wozzle,
Thats what i'm looking for, what made me wary as well, Jane must have been 54 when she had Hannah.

it is quiet possible that the jane and william on the 1841 are grandparents of hannah
they could have had a son called william who also married a jane and hannah is their child
probably not but it is a possibility.

Hello Alli,
I think we have solved it, James Taylor is the first child of William and Jane.
he was born in 6.9.1802. later he married Elizabeth Pearce.
So I think Hannah was their child rather than William and Jane.
Thus in the 1841 census Hannah was living with her Grandparents.
regarding William and Jane we cannot find any record of a marriage between them at all.

I have her baptism, 21 April 1775 to Thomas and Mary? Yeandle.
I think her mother was Mary.
it would be great if you can see anything.
