Good - well here they then:
HO107: P. 2094 Fol 319 Pg. 16
Stamford St Michael
PEARSON (transcribed as Pemson)
John Head M 37 Tailor journeyman
Emma Wife M 36
Mary Ann Dau 14
Joseph Son 12
John Son 10
Emma Dau 8
Frederick Son 6
Wilfred Son 3
Harriet Dau 2 month
Elizabeth Exton Moth -in-law Wid 74
All born Stamford except wife Emma 36 B. Rutland ?Tingall?
and Elizabeth B. Stilton.
Now, that's transcribed as Hants, Stilton. However, Stilton is in Cambs although back then it may have been Hunts. which is what I think it says.
Hope this helps

Ricky - that's your neck of the wood isn't it? What do you think about Stilton on that page?
I know for a fact it isn't in Hampshire (which is my neck of the wood!)
It looks like Stilton Hunts - did they move it sometime?
-
Ricky, good afternoon . ;D
come on sort out where Elizabeth Exton , nee Cockerel , came from. :) :)
Eilleen.

Hi Mum
Would have thought it was Stilton Huntingdonshire . All around that area one min a village would be in Hunts or Northants or Rutland, Lincs. ;D ;D

does this bit of information help ??? ???
William Exton and Elizabeth Cockerel .
where married 1801 in
Stamford Baron, St Martin. Northhampton :)
Eilleen.

Well, now I am totally, but totally, bemused ??? ??? ::)
The link that Ricky gave says it's in Hunts.
The cheese named for it however, is apparently made in Leicestershire !
And Google says Stilton - cheese and all - is Cambs.
It's no wonder we can't find people sometimes - not only do they not know where they were born, but the places themselves all play musical counties ???
-
Mum44.
It remind's me of when I first started asking question's about my family ,
Oh they all come from Grimsby since the Norman conquest ;D ;D ;D ;D
yeh sure ??? ???
