if you get a copy of "Andreas" by Sally McCambridge (private printing available via shop at Manx Museum - enquiries@mnh.gov.im) you will find a fair amount about Phillip Edward Lace's parents Wm Lace + Cath Moore - including the farms + crofts etc

Isnt that funny, I had just decided the parents were Thomas and Jane Lace.
