Are there any MILLETTs listed?
-
JenBram,
The only relatives that I would have in that time frame are William Shepherd and wife Mary (Alsop). Both would have been born around 1765 or so. They married In Iron Acton, Glos on 23-04-1786, (marriage according to IGI files).
It is possible that their son William was born in that era as well. Willam married one Sarah Andrews, but I would guess that this event would not be in your book.
Hoping that you are able to shed some light on my forebears.
Many thanks, take care :)
Robert
Hi, I have just found a book of my late aunt's with the above title. It lists probate inventories from 1539-1804. Anyone want me to look someone up? Jen

There are four Inventories for MILLETT and the name crops up as a signature on several other inventories
France MILLETT, of Frampton Cotterell widow of Joseph MILLETT 1702
Isaac MILLETT, yeoman of Stoke Gifford, 1727
John MILLET, yeoman of Frampton Cotterell, 1691
John MILLETT, senior, yeoman of Frampton Cotterell, 1726
These are all quite long so if you would like to contact me off list I could scan them for you if they are your family - unless Jen has already sent them.
P
