Smith & Irthlinborough don't come up together. What would be the nearby (larger) town and how old would these two be?

Hi Angeline

Is that really all the information you have - not even an inkling of ages/birthplaces from any other census or certificate or anything else to help somebody who is looking up for you ???  Also, the spelling of Irthlingborough - it has a "g"

1891

Baker's Lane, Irthlingborough

Thomas SMITH head mar 54 shoemaker b.Walgrave
Mary wife 53 b.Yardley Hastings
Charles son 10 b.Irthlingborough
Arthur son 6 b.Irthlingborough

RG12/1210 folio 120 page 43

Best wishes

Thanks everyone,

This sounds like it could be right. Arthur was 24 years old in 1910 I have his marriage cert, and his father is on the cert as Thomas Smith Bootmaker. All I know is that Arthur Smith my Great Grandfather originated from Irthlingborough.

Thanks Jan for Email.
