Yes, I would like that.  Did you notice any mention of them being Quakers?  The Ackworth School that Thomas was a student at was started by the Quakers.  That doesn't necessarily mean he was a Quaker, but it does suggest the possibility I guess.

I have found no mention of them being Quakers-but then i haven't looked.

I can't be certain of any of the family in 1841 -and wondered why John was in Cornwall - also there seems to be a Yorks connection - the school-some of them moved there  Thomas parents died there (it looks like they mved to live with their daughter and her family)

I found Ellen Nainby's death in 1916 in Brigg at 61 yrs. old - perhaps never married?
Haven't found anything further on Katherine....In the 1861 census, she was 3 yrs. old, by 1871 she had "disappeared".  Perhaps she was at boarding school?

Now this is interesting

Katherine was with her Uncle -Whinfield Robinson -in 1901

well

here's Whinfield in 1861
S Side of market St Liskeard Cornwall

Whinfield Robinson Head M 31 Grocer employing 8 men 3 boysKendall Westmoreland
Caroline wife 29 truro Cornwall
jane daughter 8mths
RG9 159 6117

(on all other census Whinfield's p.o.b. is Cartmel Lancs

and then there is a marriage FreeBMD
Jun qtr 1858
Falmouth
Whinfield Robinson
Caroline mann

so it looks a possibility Katherine's mum (Elizabeth) and Caroline were sisters??

There's something for you to chase up !!!

If you need any help just shout

Caroline Mann was Elizabeth's sister! (14 years younger).  In the 1881 census they lived in Devon and he was a farmer.  Caroline was listed as an annuitant.  Do you know what that meant?

Would you be so kind as to look up Thomas Mann Nainby family in the 1891 and 1901 census?

Thank you.
