Nope - modifying!!

Please stop, wait for me :)
my Mary Lane baptized 26th April 1823, Normanton on Trent. the one I am searching for :)
she had a son George Marshall Lanes , baptised 10th June 1843, Normanton on Trent, but she had him in Rampton.
The Rampton for Mrs Lilly's birth was a long shot,
Should I rule her out .
big thanks from Eilleen. :) :)
-
LOL, after all that ;)
-
Time to make the mince pies, I think
Confused now - what exactly are we or aren't we looking for :'(
-
It really has helped, at least I don't think Mrs Lilly is my lost Mary Lane. :)
My method to try and find Mary Lane , hope this makes sense :-\
LDS 1881 census I typed in Mary, her birth year abt, trawled through them all and started pulling out the married names , if they were born in or near Rampton or Normaton on Trent.
how sad am I be coming :-[ :-[
Eilleen.

George LANE 7 Normanton appears as grandson of Hannah LANE (wid, so she says) 69 Notts Sturton in Normanton in 1851.
A Mary LANE was bap at Normanton in 1823, illeg dau of Hannah.
There are deaths of Mary LANE in East Retford district in 1845 and 1846 - perhaps one of them was your lass.
-
Good evening GeoffE :)
I forgot how to to a link again ::)
Got Hannah and Mary Lane on the Nottinghamshire look up :)

You'll get what you're given and nothing more :P
- neither seems to be in the National Burial Index :(
You'll find their death registations on FreeBMD.

Big Thankyou, :) :)
