Would anyone have access to this paper archives. I have e-mailed Wick Library, but I have not even had an acknowledgement yet. My 3 x great grandmothers death is listed on a short list of entries and I would love a copy of the entire article. Elizabeth Sinclair relict of James McBeath published 13 May 1853. Many thanks in advance.

Email North Highland Archive who you will find under www.highland. gov.uk. I am sure they will be able to help. They have all the back copies of the John o' Groat Journal.

Thank you Colliehouse,
I have since received a PM from the Library archvist, he is on holiday till the 20th. When I did go to he National Archives they referred me back to Wick Library. They must have the only copies, and as was pointed out it is free from the Library.
Thanks again,
Cheers
