Hi,
I have a transcript of a baptism at Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain in 1790 and the abode is listed as Llanercheilan. The transcript is of the old site Family History Online. I haven't been able to find this place, so has anyone heard of it or know what it might be if it is a mistranscription?
Thanks,
Chesters.

Llan(n)ercheilian would look like a perfectly reasonable Welsh name, if a mistranscription is involved; don't recognise the name though, so you really need local knowledge, I think.
Sorry,
Pinot :(

Could it be Llanerch Einion?

I google mapped and found
Llanerchaeron, Ciliau Aeron, Lampeter, Dyfed, United Kingdom
If you google Llanerch quite a few hits come up
