Title: 1841 census look-up please - DUFF

Would it be possible to see if an Adam Duff and his wife Isabella are still alive and living in Maryport or surrounding area in 1841

They were married in 1801 so both would be at least 60
Isabella was born in Cumberland but not sure about Adam

Any help much appreciated

Adam Duff, 60, Mariner.
Isabella Duff 54.
Thomas Duff, 26, Mariner.
John Duff, 18, Ship Wright

On the same page,
John Duff, 70, Mariner.
Dorothy, 60.
Adam Duff, 15, Shipwright.

Thank you very much for the information.  I was very pleased to see John Duff there with his parents although you have given me another puzzle to solve with the other Duff family nearby.  I expect we will find John and Adam are brothers.

same applies to john this is possibly him (he nearly made it onto 1851 census)

christening;
name; john duff
date; 24th may 1773
place; maryport,cumberland
parents; adam/agnes duff
ext.rec.
definite possibility they were brothers with adam being named after his father.

 ... and a Thomas DUFF as well I think.  All three of them had sons called Adam baptised at Maryport in the 1810s.

And John 1773 was son of Adam.

there is this child of adam and isabella

death; 24th april 1811
christening took place in maryport.

We have found quite a few of these chr but needed other info to tie them together
The Daniel chr 1806 is the one in our main line
