Any help on this would be great im looking for the father of this robert hood born blandford
Robert Hood b.31 Dec 1823 Blandford Forum Dorset d.1891 Blandford age 67
m. 20 Feb 1855 Blandford to Mary Ann ROSE b.29 Jun 1834 Sturminster Newton d.abt.1877 Blandford
i am trying to make a connection with my hoods this robert hood was a clockmaker and my hoods where clockmakers in dorset aswell so any help would be great i need to get as far back as possible eek  :P

Robert Hood born 1800 married Mary Mathew
Mary Mathew born 1803 died March 23 1838
Robert and Mary married Dec 22, 1823 they had two children
Robert Hood born Dec 31, 1823 died 1891 with his son my grandfather present
Emma Susanne Hood born  April 01, 1825
Robert Hood married Mary Ann Rose Feb 20, 1855
Emma Hood married Charles Elton 1851
Robert Hood and Mary Ann had 8 children one of which was my grandfather Edward Francis Hood who came to Canada in 1908
These Hood were both Clockmaker's and have clocks in a museum in England
I have had trouble getting back any further than Robert Hood born 1800  but am looking all the time.

I have come across a Jasper Hood and family who came from Wareham and whose ancestry can be traced back to East Stoke.  Perhaps your Robert Hood has a connection with this family.
