I am interested in any information on my grand-parents.My
grand-fathers name was Patrick Clark and he was from Kingscourt,Cavan.My grand-mothers name was Annie King and she was from Ballyjamesduff,Cavan.
My great-grandfathers name was also Patrick Clarke and he was married to Catherine Reilly.
I believe my grand-father had brothers named James,Charles,Peter and Andrew and twin sisters named Mary and Bridget.
If anyone has any additional information about this family I would appreciate hearing from you.I am trying to do a family history for my children and grandchildren.

My father tells me that a Judith (Julia) Clarke was married to my Great Grandfather, John Lambe in Shercock, Cavan but I have no marriage dates. They had a child, Joseph Lambe b. 23 April 1909.

Were the Clarke family members of the Catholic, the Established (Anglican) or the Presbyterian faith?
Did your grandfather (born 1879) have any siblings?

They were catholic. He had older brothers named Andrew,Charles,James,possibly Peter and I think 2 sisters,Mary and Bridget.

I have three Patrick Clarkes in the Family tree from the are you speak of, but I am not sure I have on b circa 1859
Any other family names from circa 1850 for me to go on?

The only other names I have are for my Great-Grandfather and Great-Grandmother,Patrick Clarke and Catherine Clarke(Reilly).
I also know that my Great-Grandmothers fathers name was Lawrence Reilly.

My grand-parents and great - grand parents were from Cavan. My grand-parents names were Patrick Clark and Annie Clark(nee King).I believe my Grand-Father had a brother James.Also 3 other brothers and 2-twin sisters.He came to the U.S. and married Annie King.They lived in New York.
My Great-Grand Parents were we believe Patrick Clark and Ann Clark (Gologly).From what we were able to find out they were married in Cavan Dec.2,1871.My Great-Grand-Fathers name was Peter and my Great-Grandmothers father was Owen Gologly.
I am still trying to find more information on the family.I hope this can help you or you can share any other information with me.

I am looking for any information on the Clarke family from county Cavan. I know my Grand-Parents were Patrick Clark and Anne King. He was from Kingscourt and she was from Ballyjamesduff.
From what info I can find I think my Great Grandfather was Patrick Clarke and I think my Great-Grandmother was Anne Gologly.
If anyone has any other information I would appreciate it.
