Does anyone know the location of the above street? I have the Stewart family there in 1820's also the Hibberts in 1880's.

Hi,
Found a reference to a Wash House in Springfield Street c 1905.
Indicated that it was in the Old Swan area of Liverpool.

According to the 1881 census it was next to St Anne Street. I think some of it has been knocked down, see link below

Thanks John for looking it up for me. I think Old Swan may be too far from the centre of the city, as the children were baptised at St Peters Church. :)
Ricky thanks for that link. The St. Anne Street area seems most likely, well found. ;)
Cheers, much appreciated.

I know where it was .I have walked down there many times as a young girl. My mum would tell me story’s about family living there . She would say it looked different when she was a young girl, to what it did when she would take me there . My family all lived in and around that area from early 1800s to late 1800s .
