Is there anyone out there who could look up a John Mitson b 1841? Ive found him in the 1871 81 91 1901 census. But would like to track him back to his parents.
WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP.
i think he lived at St Julians in Norwich. He married Mary Julia Chapman b1844
Thanks!!

Okay you are lucky, someone has done a wonderful look up for me and I have gone back several generations on different lines. This is a thank you to them. The 1861 Census is not in very good condition for St Julian

Thanks so much. Thats great!
But, what on earth is a "scavenger?"
Sounds a bit dodgy to me!
I found info that a John Mitson owned property in St Julians - so I thought he was a money man!
Anyway, I cant wait to tell my Dad that his Gt Grandad "scavenged" for a living!!
Regards, Mary
