From the family in 1911 Census
Oswald Hardy 1911 Census (http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Louth/Dundalk_Urban_No__4/Barrack_Street/905449/)
This is the marriage
Oswald Hardy and Louisa McGovern
Registration District: Clonmel
Year and Quarter: Jan-Mar 1894
Volume 4 Page 401
Can order marriage record from www.groireland.ie using above information. The form is not specifically designed for the information but include it where you can.
By the way according to 1911 Census Louisa was born in Armagh.

As a matter of interest, would you happen to know where to find the birth details of Oswald Hardy, 1862? There seems to be quite a lot of info online about various Hardy's but mostly earlier and I can't connect him yet?

unfortunately Oswald seems to have been born in about 1862, which is just before civil registration started in 1864, so you will need to try parish records for details of his baptism. The only Co. Louth parish records available online that I know of are on the Irish Family History Foundation website at : www.irish-roots.ie .. I dont see any Church of Ireland records listed in their current sources.
The marriage cert details mentioned by Gerard should include details of his father.

Oswald was born on the 22/12/1861 and baptised in Charlestown Parish on 05/01/1862. Judith, I have sent you an email and will forward all the information on request, too much information to place on these boards. Brendan

I have found the library in Dundalk particularly helpful. For a one-off fee, they will search their database of baptisms and post the results and then asnwer any further queries.
Good luck with your research.
