I don't know where to put this as at one time Scunthorpe was in Lincs but I am after old papers of Scunthorpe and Glanford Brigg areas 1900 to about 1970

All the Scunthorpe Newspapers from 1889 are available on microfilm at Scunthorpe Central Library, there is a Star index which list many of the surnames in the paper.

The Hull Times also has references to places on the south bank. Hull Local Studies Library has this.

Thank you all for the info received, I need to knuckle down now to have a good look also being a NOSEYOAP, love the name by the way
