I'm currently researching the family of Andrew Porter born in Kilfinnan on September 6th 1875 and waswondering if there is anybody else out there researching this family.

Andrew Porter born September 6th 1875 Londonderry, Ireland

son of Andrew Porter circa 1842 and Annie McMullan 1840
siblings Alethea Porter 1873, L Porter 1873, Samuel Porter 1877, Martha Porter 1880
Partner Catherine Blythe [can find no record of a marriage]
Children Adrian Porter [1908 Stirling street Glasgow], Eileen Porter [1910 Londonderry] Kathleen Porter [not known] The couple were not married when Adrian was born.

Andrew is possibly buried in Glendermott cemetery. Any additional info on this family most welcome.

Hi,
   Andrew Junior was a twin who had a set of triplets as siblings. His parents were married on 2 Nov 1864 in Cumber Upper Presbyterian Church. This is in the Claudy/Feeny area. Children were:-
Margaret 14 May 1866 Feeny
John 11 Feb 1868 Feeny
Annie 15 Aug 1869 Feeny
George 23 Nov 1871 Feeny
Alethea 29 Sept 1873
Lavinia 29 Sept 1873
Maria 29 Sept 1873
Eliza Jane Lennox 6 Sept 1875
Andrew 6 Sept 1875.

Hi

Andrew Porter (1875) was my great grandfather - His daughter Eileen (1910) was my grandmother and her sister Kathleen was born 08-08-1920.

Checked online free 1911 irish census and unable to find anything on my grandmother, Eileen, or great grand-parents, Andrew and Catherine,  however did find my great, great grandfather Andrew (1842) and his daughter, Aletha (1873).

Andrew Porter(1875) is buried, with Catherine and daughter Kathleen, as you thought correctly in Glendermot Cemetery.

What is your connection with this family?

Hi,
   The John Kirkpatrick Porter who married Elizabeth M Whiteside in Crumlin Road Presbyterian Churh, Belfast on 2 Feb 1900 had a father called Robert. Elizabeth's father was William.
