Title: Birth & Death Record, Arkle, James

Hi All,

 I was just wondering if anyone could help with locating the exact date of birth and the cause of death for James Arkle - Born 1st Qrt 1868 (Morpeth 10b, 309) and died June Qrt 1892, Aged 25. (Alnwick 10b, 241)
He died just before his daughter died and I have this feeling that something tragic happened here.
Also does anyone know a website that has the local papers of the time on-line as I can't get up to northumberland.

You will need to purchase the birth and death certificates for this information

This can be done online from thr GRO
www.gro.gov.uk
make sure you quote the references you have found from the index.

Thanks for that.
I have already ordered my Grandad's death certificate from this website - I need that so I can get his Army Service History, which should be interesting!
As for James Arkle - there is definately something with this - I've just got this feeling about his cause of death is something strange.
