hi.
trying to find information on a marriage thats registered march 1/4 1838 for Eliza LANGTON and James ....now james's surname is a choice of a few spellings...... their children were DEBREX but any way they could spell it they did ....they must have known i was looking for them lol lol
i am hoping witness to marriage might hold a clue...
James must die pre 1851 census as Eliza is listed as widow .
thanks

thank you John your a star...
can i ask where they both from Northamptonshire?
-
Alison, you do know that even if the records do say OTP (of this parish) that only means for at least the 3 weeks before the marriage?
Not necessarily that they were both born there.

Hi Alison,
They were both OTP, but it might well be that the fathers occupations meant they were both based in town and perhaps the All Saints area.
That is where I would look for their baptisms.
