Title: Kirkby Lonsdale St Marys Church
Post by: mmm45 on Friday 21 May 10 07:10 BST (UK)
Hi
If anyone is near to St Marys Church in KL could they check out the war memorial and see if  a Wiliam H Jennings is listed? also the Roll Of Honour within the church.
He was a railway porter.
KIA April 1918 with 1/7th West Ridings.

Thanks

Ady

Hello Ady,

Have you found William?

There's a probate entry in Ancestry for William Henry Jennings killed in Flanders 14 April 1918. He was registered living in Tarnwater Cottage, Tunstall nr Kirkby Lonsdale

Link has War Memorial include at Kirkby Lonsdale and soldiers names. There is a William H Harley but no Wiliam H Jennings.
