can't help with the witnesses, although you could buy the marriage cert to find out.
In 1841, they look to be the couple living at Stonemill, Pennard with children William & Elizabeth. William senior is a blacksmith. HO107/1424/26 folio 8 pg 8

thanks for the census ref Osprey -- I'll check that one out.
Hanes Teulu -- that would be wonderful thanks indeed.... I'll happily buy the cert if these are my rellies but would like to avoid buying another unnecessary cert if at all possible so knowing the witness names would help ....
Cheers!

Lynda,
Found the Parish marriage record for William and Elizabeth in Pennard Church. It was the last one registered.
Witnesses were William Clement, Samuel Rees and John Gar??? (hard to make out).
Took a photocopy of the marriage record, can scan and forward if it's relevant

Hi Hanes
Apologies for the delay in responding but have been away this week and just home, catching up now.
Gosh, Yes please -- very grateful if you could send a copy of the entry through to me -- that's wonderfully helpful indeed!
I'll PM you with my email address now.
Cheers!

Lynda,
Delighted the copy marriage details helped. Think 3rd witness might be John Gamon?
Osprey mentioned the children William and Elizabeth in an earlier post. Pennard Church baptismal entries -
Clement William, father William, occ. Blacksmith, mother Elizabeth, bapt. 20 Jul 1838, address Rocky Lane
Clement Elizabeth, father William, occ. Blacksmith, mother Elizabeth, bapt. 6 Sept 1840, address Stone Mill
There's a third entry that's interesting
Clement Mary, father William, occ. Blacksmith, mother Anne, bapt. 27 July 1845, address Sandy Lane
