I am looking info on an Elizabeth McGinley dorn I believe in Letterkenny she is believed to been born 1869 and died 24.10.17. she married a soldier John Wood I have info on him but I am unable to locate info on

They appear to have been married in England, in Farnham (twice?). You should be able to get her father's name (and perhaps his occupation) from the marriage certificate.

can you tell me the places where she was married. I believe she would have married in a registry office and may have married in a church.

The index does not give any details as to the exact location- the only way to get the place, date, etc. is to order the certificate.
