got someone as being born in GAYSYBWL, Glamorgan, Wales in 1892. Where is it?

are you sure that's the correct spelling? Could it be a misstranscription or a shortened form?
I can't find it on any of my maps.

Possibly a mistranscription.  If you post the ref maybe another can check for you.

See your post is in Monmouthshire, but you mention Glamorgan.  Here are all towns and parishes in both.

Using GENUKI link supplied by Cas, (Thanks Cas) a lot of deciphering of the handwriting, and the fathers work habits, the true place of birth has to be Ynysybwl.

I was going to suggest 'Ynysybwl'..but could not see image.., or know which county you were aiming for...so did not want to influence.

You probably mean YNYSYBWL, it is a little village about 4 miles north of Pontypridd and 16 miles north of Cardiff. I lived there .The Reg dist is prob Pontypridd, but before registration Parish was Llanwonno. Need anymore help let me know.
