I am interested in the Shepherd families from Frampton Cotterel, Westerleigh, Winterbourne, Iron Acton and Downend.
William married Mary Alsop
son William married Sarah Andrews
son Christopher married Martha Gibbs
son Henry married Emma Colborn
son Francis Henry Shepherd (born 1865, Frampton Cotterell) came to Australia in 1890.
Does anyone have any information for these families. Here in Australia, information is that much harder to research in the UK.
I'm already indebted to many.
Cheers
Robert ;D

Many thanks for your fast response. It would appear that all these are my relations. Many names are common in our history both written and oral.
Again many thanks :)

Hi, I've just come across this post and thought I would drop you a message to say that I live in the house in Iron Acton that the shepherds rented for two hundred years. I also have the mill records (from our neighbour who lives there now). Drop me a message if you would like any photos of the place. Cheers Tim
