The Royal Oak family - just along the road -

John Woodhouse, Head, 57, Farmer & Innkeeper, born Catshill
Louisa Woodhouse, wife, 54,                            born Brownhills
William Woodhouse, son, 15, Farmer's son, born Shire Oak
Mary Louisa Woodhouse, grand dau, 6, Scholar, born Shire Oak
+ Louisa Craddock, 'relative', 13, general servant (domestic), born Shire Oak

Maybe John was an older brother of Thomas - both in the same line of work :-\

Thank you for the Royal Oak infomation, I am sure there is a connection with my family, but why did they all name them with the same christian  name, another bit of the puzzle to sort out. thank you, tidgie.
