I'm looking for any help to trace the history of:
John T F Heath Bn 1877 ...Madras,India
Harriet Alma Heath Bn 1878... Bangalore,India.....(Baptism Found)
Sarah A Heath Bn 1873....Burmah, India
They all appear on the 1881 Dartford census after their return from India after father William Heath was injured in action at Kabul during the second Afghan war (Mother Mary Anne) but after 1881 they disappear.........i have searched hi and low but cannot find anything on them any help would be appreciated.....

Did William die from his injuries?
If not - could they have returned to India
If yes - did Mary Ann re-marry between 1881 -1891 and perhaps the children are shown under her new married name
Did Mary Ann return to Ireland?
Who is the Nellie Heath you refer to in your subject
-
Thought I would look at it from another angle
Are you descended from one of their children?
If so - which child and where did he/she marry and when
-
A Harriett Alma Heath married Alexander S Johnson in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 10 September 1902. Her father was William Heath, mother Mary Ann Davidson.

Another York Ontario marriage:
18 April 1902

James Joseph Pugh, mechanic born Swansea, Wales circa 1842, son of John Pugh and Olive Smith
-
Widow Harriett Alma Johnston, 38, widow of 213 Beresford Road Toronto, born India, married Christopher H Keller in York county Ontario 1 January 1920. Parents listed as William Heath and Jennie Spence
-
Finally found Harriet in 1911 Canadian census-
213 Beresford Ave. (transcribed as #223) Toronto, York South, Ontario:
Alexander Johnston born 1870 Ontario age 41 Anglican engineer (factory)
wife Harriett Johnston born 1878 Ontario age 33 Anglican
-
Ah so Shauns info could be the remarriage after Alexanders death.....are there any children on it???
-
No children listed in 1911 census for Alexander and Harriett.
Possible sighting of James Pugh (Sarah's husband)-
James Joseph Pugh, age 77, born England, wid., died 7 June 1916 Ontario, buried Aurora Co. [note: Aurora is just north of Toronto]
If so this might be him in 1911-
3 Miller Ave., Toronto, York South, Ontario
James Pugh born July _ age 68 wid.
-
Sarahs marriage would have been a bizare one with her 31 and Mr pugh 60!!!! dont suppose any children there then!!!
Looking for the girls on the passenger lists.............
-
If the James Pugh I found in 1911 census is Sarah's husband then he was married before and had children from 1st marriage.
-
Ok....
