long shot  anybody looking into families with above name around 188 in down patrick . there daughter was my gggg grandmother Elizabeth born 1824 who married a Michael cunningham in down patrick in 1847 and was subject of previous post 

any help would be appreciated

What was Robert's occupation? (this should be listed on Elizabeth's marriage certificate)

he was a merchant and lived in downpatrick

How do you know he lived in Downpatrick?

marriage certificate states lived in downpatrick and elizabeths husbands michael cunningham came from the townland of struel just outside downpatrick

No, the marriage certificate lists the bride's residence as Downpatrick but this may not be where her father lived- and even though he's not listed as deceased on the certificate he could even be dead by that time. Think you may need to widen your search area.
