For all those researching Ellen Gray & Henry Smith of Lincs - she d/o Christopher Gray & Maria Smith.
It was previously deducted that Ellen was baptised as Dinah because she gave her age and place of birth as those of Dinah Gray (c.1842 Scredington Linc) and Dinah DISAPPEARED about the same time as Ellen makes her first appearance, although the reasoning behind a name change was never discovered.

Well, Dinah was her little sister, and no doubt the ages are approximate as are the places of birth because parents simply couldnt remember and didnt much care anyway. Anyway the point is this:

Eleanor Gray c.11.04.1840 Chapel Hill, Lincs, d/o Christopher & Maria, labourer (place of abode blank).
