Title: John Cook Brackenbury COMPLETED THANKS
Post by: brianz on Friday 04 March 11 17:11 GMT (UK)
I have lost John Cook Brackenbury b abt 1813 in Wainfleet, married Eliza Everington on 20 June 1832 in Boston and had two children John Everington b abt 1833 and William b abt 1835 after that they disappear I cannot find them on any census, death or any where can anyone help??
Do not confuse John Cook Jnr with his father b 1792 at Holten Halgate d 1876 who has the same name and  also married two Elizabeth's ( not both at the same time )

Thanks Steve

   Hi, Steve,

I think John and Eliza might have emigrated, as this is the most likely reason for their disappearance. However, I could not find anything on Ancestry.com when I was at the Family History Centre today. I am remotely related to a Rebecca Brackenbury who married at Miningsby in 1800 (from memory). Anyway, good luck!

Hi Andrew
Thanks for the info. Do you happen to know where they went to? Sorrr I have not got a Rebecca on my tree she must be a different bit of the clan. Thanks again.

   Hello,

Unfortunately I do not know what happened to them. If I find out I will let you know.
