Am finding it really hard to find a marriage for Richard Foveaux (1757) and Mary Kirby (c1760) which we think took place around 1784/5/6. Their daughter Mary was born in Belgium c1786 and son Richard Charles also born in Belgium 1788.
We know that Richard came from Ampthill, Bedforeshire and was the eldest son of Joseph Foveaux and Elizabeth Wheeler.
In order to clarify a connection between Mary Kirby and our family it is vital that we find the marriage certificate, but to date we have run into a brick wall. It is possible that they may have married in Belgium but the family think the marriage was in England.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Maggie

the above link is misbehaving (sometimes)
just go to the Beds Archives website; search their catalogue for name = Foveaux - it's reference AU10/55/2 , Title Andrew Underwood's research notes on the Foveaux family
