Title: Decyphering an MI question
Post by: Ceryswyn on Friday 08 April 11 00:50 BST (UK)
I finally found a memorial inscription relating to someone in my family (albeit a first wife when I'm descended from the second wife but darnit it's a memorial inscription and I'm keeping it!!) and I think I have most of it decyphered but I'm wondering about the first bit.

STTMO

I believe it's something To The Memory Of but I can't figure out what the S is... any thoughts?

Also can I assume that gt gda = Great Grandaughter? and gf = Grandfather?

Thanks.

Could it be "Sacred" to the memory of?

And I'd agree with the gt gda and gf.
