I am trying to find the family tree of George Gage was present in the Bay of Islands in 1835 (new Zealand) he married a Maori women he was known to be in new Zealand in 1835 he had 3 children George, John November gage and Mary. One of my relations a david richmond gage played rugby in1888-89 where he travelled to england and apparently went and visited the gages there. They had a castle so the story goes. What I am interested is finding out where this george gage came from, his occupation is noted as sailor , however he ended up becoming a land dealer.
I would appreciate any information
