Title: Phoebe Johns, 1804 any connections?
Post by: salclem on Wednesday 27 April 05 18:58 BST (UK)
Hello,
Does anyone have connections with Phoebe Johns b. around 1804-1811?
I have been unable to find her birth as there are so many with the same name and year of birth.

Our Phoebe married Edward Smith Laurence around 1830, possibly in Bristol where Edward lived and worked as a sailor. I have found no marriage record yet.

In the 1841 and 1881 census returns of Clifton, Bristol, Phoebe said she was born in Pembrokeshire.

Phoebe was a shopkeeper when her husband was a mariner. She later became a monthly nurse.

Anyone information would be much appreciated,
     Many thanks,
        Sally
