Please could you lookup the household details for Maud Broadhurst on the 1891 census for Leicestershire. She would be 4 years old (born in Leicestershire) and possibly living with her father Daniel Broadhurst (he was born in Derbyshire around 1858-60).
Many thanks
Rob

Heather B,
Many thanks. Could it be that his with was recorded as Mima (short for Jemima), rather than Maria ? It is just that a later child's Baptism certificate has her as Mima and the 1901 census. Also my relatives thought she was called Jemima.
I guess this might be why I've not found a lot on her.
Cheers
Rob

Sorry that should have read 'wife' rather than 'with'.

Hi Rob,
just had another look as it's very faint. But there's definitely "ia" at the end. It's also transcribed as Maria in the index but it could be an enumerator mistake ...

Thanks, that was quick
Rob ;)
