Hello :)
I'm trying to find any further information on my G-G-Grandmother, Tersiah Evans b c1868.
She shows up on the 1901 Census, married to Thomas Evans.
Census data says she was born in Cardiff.
I have tried searching for her in other census years, but she is a bit of a ghost. I had a look at the original census image and as far as I can see it really does appear to have been transcribed correctly.
Can anyone find any further info on her? I tried searching for marriage records too but I can't find anything that looks like her marriage to Thomas Evans.
Thanks in advance for your help. :)

That is absolutely on the money - My Gran said she had an aunt Morfydd. :) Thank you!
I can't seem to find the Tessy/William/Lear on the 1871 census though?
I can't find a birth record for her either at the moment.
Thanks so much all of you for your help so far, it's been fantastic!

Could these be the sisters. A litle bit off the census ages, but they are not always accurate, at least there is about the right time between them, and the place is right.

Hi! Amazing messages + to find someone, who is a distant relative! My grandmother was Clara Thomas (+ then Williams)-a sister to Jessia. I was wondering what had happened to Jessia, as I thought that, at one point, she was living up in Manchester (1911) + was a widow, but I may have got that wrong (except that Morfydd was with her + that's not really a Manchester name!).
Did you know that they had an aunt, who converted to Mormonism, sailed to the USA, in the 1860s, was buried in Idaho + has a large (!) number of descendents?
Do you know any more about their grandparents?
Would you happen to know about any putative 'cousins', called Reuben + Aaron?
Once again, nice to find a very distant cousin!
