Can anyone point me in the right direction for Northamptonshire Non Conformist registers....it would appear that a number of my ancestors were Wesleyans & Methodists.
Many thanks.

Hi,
There is a link on the website for Northamptonshire Record Office which has a pdf of all the non-conformist records they hold. It looks very comprehensive!
;D

:o Think I've sorted it now ... Thank you![/b][/font]

Thank you for the reply and link.
I'm researching every occurrence of the surname Bailey in Northamptonshire and I'm looking for the earliest records available. I have a few from Kettering but other than visiting the NRO are there any records on line?
Many thanks.

The pay-per-view website at http://aol.bmdregisters.co.uk/index.php? has non-conformist BMDs for the BAILEY surname dating back to the mid 1700s in Northamptonshire.

You can purchase transcriptions of some Northamptonshire Nonconformist records here:

And of course Hugh Wallis on my Reply 11 of "Useful Northants Links"
has Non-conformists records to view on line.
Alan Clarke also has some on his indexes, links below post.

Thank you Sandy,
I searched all of the Hugh Wallis records for the surname Bailey many years ago and I'm sure I recorded them all. Still best I check my records....just in case.
Regards,
Chris.
