William is shown as married but where's his wife I wonder? Perhaps she's gone to stay with relatives after having baby?

Hello Shelley,
Thank you so much for your reply and findings.
Up to know I have this family only on the 1871 census in St Luke's Chelsea and by this time William had died and Ann had remarried in 1869 a Jesse Goldsmith in Swindon.
This may help to find Walter's birth as in 1871 it was given as Middlesex and when I recently sent for the certificate it came back as the wrong parents.
I wonder where Ann and her son Henry can be?
Once again many thanks for your help.
Cathy
PS Is there an address for William?

Difficult to read address actually - looks like "Baiken" or "Barkin" - no house number or Street/Road etc.
Re Henry/Harry - are you sure he was born before 1861 census was taken (7 April)? Could it be a possibility that Ann was in hospital giving birth?

Hi Shelley,
Many thanks for replying. Henry was born 26th June 1860 in Wootton Bassett (from his birth certificate)His mother's former name was Tuff so maybe she was relatives on the night of the census?
Thanks for your help
Cathy
