Hi, my GGM, Lavinia Edwards, was born in 1862 in Nancegollen, near Helston, to Joseph & Grace (nee Richards). She appears on the 1871 census at home, with her 10 siblings (there is a note on the census page - '2 other daughters of this fine family are away in service') - obviously nothing else to do...
I can find no trace of her on the 1881 and 1891 censuses at all - she married Richard Warren (from Birmingham) in 1893 (his second marriage) in Birmingham, where she appears in 1901 and 1911, with my GM, Great Aunt, and another daughter, and a step daughter. She was from his previous marriage, to Elizabeth BOSANKO, who was also born in this area - Sithney - in 1858, married in 1881, also in Birmingham, died in 1891. He died in September 1900.
Has anybody had any ideas of where Lavinia may have been in those two censuses, and any clues as to why her husband married two girls from the same area? The family story was that he was a railway man, and so travelled to Cornwall, but the census shows him and his father as Zinc Workers.
Any help would be gratefully received!

I don't know where Lavinia Edwards is on the 1881/1891 but the connection is -
Lavinia's brother lives in Aston Birmingham 1881+ with his wife (married in Helston) Mary Ann Bosanko. Sister to Eliza Bosanko. In 1881 Eliza is also living in Aston, where she married Richard Warren.
