Hello
Wondering if anyone can tell what has happened to the excellent site that had a large searchable database of Toxteth Park Cemetery?? My link that I had saved is not working and all my google searches are bringing up dead pages?? Help please

Hi,
This one works for me - http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~toxtethparkcemetery/
Don't know if it's the same site as you used before?

I believe the Toxteth Park Cemetery database site you're looking for was compiled by fellow Rootschatter R Billo. However, the old website www.tpcliverpool.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ redirects you to www.toxtethparkcemetery.co.uk, which unfortunately doesn't lead to the same site.
Perhaps if R Billo sees this message he will let us know what has happened to his excellent database?

Just a quick note regarding our Toxteth Park Cemetery site.
I had problems with the domain name suppliers. It has now been resolved the site and is now back up and running.

Hello R Billo,
First of all just thanking you for a great website. My G Grandparents are buried at the Toxteth Park Cemetery and from your great website this is how I found where they were buried. :)
For the last week I have tried accessing the burial pages on your website but all I get is this page can`t be found. All the links to the years of burials are like this.Just thought I would let you know.

I still can't re-find that site. Have been there once and it was good. Could someone put up a link please.

The Toxteth Park Cemetery records are now available to search and view on Ancestry via the collection "England & Scotland, Select Cemetery Registers, 1800-2016" others included are Allerton, Anfield, Everton, Kirkdale, Liverpool Crem, Necropolis Low Hill, St James, St Mary and West Derby:-
https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/collections/9041/
I think the old Toxteth site still has a problem with its search facility but individual years can be viewed via the drop down at the top of this page:-

I found a grave for toxteth cemetery last week and went for a look round
James Underwood
BIRTH unknown
DEATH 30 Oct 1951
BURIAL
Toxteth Park Cemetery
Toxteth, Metropolitan Borough of Liverpool, Merseyside, England
PLOT Sec. A, Grave 115
MEMORIAL ID 174591000
I looked on the cemetery map and most graves have a letter S next to the number, what does that mean? I got excited and thought it meant stone! I didn’t know if it was the CofE section A or General section A so looked at both but no stone for either

"THE UNCONSECRATED PART or GENERAL SECTION"
Name: Underwood, James
Date: 30 October 1951
Age: 73 years
Address: 271 Tarbock Road Huyton Liverpool
Mode: Private Grave
Folio: 2430
Entry: 48560
Section: A
Grave: 115

This burial was in Gen A (Non-Conformist section). There's no inscription on the inscription website so there's definitely no stone. This is that site for future reference:-
