Hi :)
I'd be very grateful if someone could help me find the birth/baptism of William Emm in the Fifield area around 1752. On the 1841, he's down as aged 89 - HO107/1170/6/2/15
Also, a marriage to a Hannah, either in the Fifield area or, possibly, around Bradford before 1779.
For background information ~ I have traced the family back to South Wraxall, where their first known son was born in 1779. (Recorded as Eames in the register) They, and their 4 children were the subjects of a removal order (as Emme - Bradford 5 Dec 1786) to Fifield. They then went on to have more children in Fifield. William was recorded as James on a couple of occasions but it's definitely the same person. I have the baptisms of their children and fairly thorough information of the descendants, so just need William and Hannah.
Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Sharon
I did see those a while ago but as the Removal order sent them to Fifield, I think that that would be the most likely place. Removal orders were quite stringent about place of settlement.
The Broad Chalke one is a possible but neither of the names are regularly used by the descendants. Warminster is too far away, I'd think.
Thanks for looking
