Hi Jacques
Thanks so much for searching for me, I am not convinced these are the Palmers I am looking for, I know it is quite difficult when it seems that nearly the whole area are Palmers... :-\
I think that Daniel will be the link age about 6 in 1841.
I appreciate your help, thank you.. :)

Hi Niseone,
I am wanting to enquire a bit of information about your "Palmers". I am side stepping in my research a bit and I think the information has lead me to the same family.
What I am interested in, is the information that jacques posted. I saw the 1841 census. I back tracked a bit, am I right in that James married a Jane Sansomn Stoke Sub Hamdon in 29/10/1827. Then I have a Jane Palmer (age 36) buried 15/3/1840, along with a Jane Palmer (3 months) - I see this Jane was baptised 22/12/1839 - and their abode was Friern.
I see from the other children baptisms that it has James down as a Broomer, and later a Labourer. OK so where am I headed I am wondering about the Joanna Palmer that is listed with him in the 1841 census. I am gathering that this is his mother.
From my tree we have that a Joanna Palmer, here's the side step :D, we have read that her nephew a Edmund Walford robbed her, along with a Samuel Chedzoy. It is noted that Edmund robbed his Aunty - so I am wondering if Joanna was a Walford? Edmund was sentenced to death (2nd offence), but it was commuted to transportation and he was sent to Australia as a convict. Edmund (it seems he changed his name when he moved from Tasmania to Victoria to Edward) is my 2 x g'grandfather.
Thanks for any help.
