Title: Golden Row, St Thomas, Swansea
Post by: Special Needs Girl on Tuesday 20 December 11 20:11 GMT (UK)
Hi

My husband's grandmother's birth certificate stated that her parents were living in Golden Row, St Thomas, Swansea in 1897.

Does anyone know where Golden Row was situated as I cannot find it on any current day map.

Many thanks  SNG

Diolch Hanes Teulu.

We drive past that row and always talk about it every time we go to Swansea!

My husband was originally told Golden Row was near the Hafod Works, Hafod but knew the row couldn't be there because that area is not St Thomas.

Guess where we are off to with our camera tomorrow!!

That's fantastic.   :)    Many thanks.   ;)

My husband is now in his element.

It would appear that my question has been sent to another site so apologies for not replying sooner.
