Hello I am trying to trace a relative. Her name was Ivy G Covill she was born about 1910 and married a Francis Morris in 1929 in Bristol. Ivy died in Cardiff in 1938 in an house fire, children went into care. Due to the children being in care they are unsure of their grandparents. It is them they would like to start with.
If anyone can help would be appreciated.

As a starting point this is the reference to get Ivy's birth certificate

A search on 1911 suggests her parents are William (1882) and Hettie (1886)
Marriage Jan- March 1910
Kingston 2a 611
COVILL William James
COYLE Hettie Rose
On 1901 William is a gardener b Bexley in Kent, living in Kingston with father John, also a gardener from Bexley and I think his stepmother Susan (1891 John is married to Marian)
Hettie is living with her family in Newington. Dad James is a ticket writer b Maidstone and mother Mary is from Southwark
There is a distinct possibility Hettie's twin sister Daisy marries a relative of William Covill, as a Daisy Coyle marres Ernest Covill in Kingston in 1913
They are from a family of 14, 5 of whom had died by 1911

Ivy was my grandmother, she died when my mother was around 6 years old, she had three daughters, Rita, Violet and a baby sister who was adopted after Ivy died in a house fire. She also had a son called Ernest. Violet is still alive, sadly my mum passed two years ago and Ernest quite a few years ago. Ivy's mother died in 1986 I think just after her 100th birthday, I never knew about daisy. Ivy's husband Francis died in 1952/3
