Searching for parents of Alice Elisabeth Gardner born in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, between 1848 and 1853. Her parents may have immigrated just before that, and may have been from England, Ireland, Scotland, or Wales.
One possibility is Joseph Gardner, then aged 22, a passenger on the ship "CARNALIE" which sailed from Liverpool 3 April 1848 to New Orleans. Have no further information. Please help. Alice's parents could also have been anyone else. We do not know.
