Would be grateful for any information on the families of John and Jane Holliday. They were born in Montgomeryshire in 1811 and 1816 respectively. They later moved to Monmouthshire and had a daughter Susannah in 1848.

I have checked 1851 and there are no HOLLIDAY listed.
I don't have access to 1841.

Thanks Jan. I can only assume they had left Montgomery by 1851 and left no Hollidays behind.

I have just checked 1841 and can find no Hollidays (any spelling)in Montgomeryshire. In fact, I could not see any John or Jane Hollidays for those dates (or near) in Wales.
There are several families in Monmouthshire, but none with those names.

Hi
I was unable to find the family in 1841, but the 1851 census shows the following:
Living at Tredegar Road Row, Bedwellty, Monmouth
John Holliday (39) Forge Labourer b. Llandinam, Mgy
Jane Holliday (34) Wife, b. do.
John Holliday (13) Son, b. do.
Thomas Holliday (11) Son, b. Gelligaer, Glam.
Ann Holliday (8) Daughter, b. Bedwellty, Mon.
William Holliday (5) Son, b. do.
Elizabeth Holliday (3) Daughter, b. do.
Evan Holliday (1) Son, b. do.
Ann Woosnam (78) Mother-in-law, b. Llandinam, Mgy.
In 1841, Ann(e) Woosnam may have been at
Upper Caerau, Llandinam
Anne Woosnam (66) Female Servant (family - Edward & Mary Woolley)
Probable marriage from FamilySearch.org
John Hollyday and Jane Woosnam 10 April 1837 Llandinam, Mgy.
Hope this helps
Best wishes
