Title: White of Tewkesbury

I'm researching my great-great-great-grandfather Thomas Walter White who was born in about 1797 in Much Marcle, Herefordshire.

There is supposed to be a White on a list of vergers or vicars or something similar on the wall of Tewkesbury Abbey who is linked to my family.

Is anybody else interested in this family?  Is there a member in Tewkesbury who'd be prepared to look in the Abbey and report back on name and date(s)?

In the list of organists is Nathaniel Chandler White (1847-1857)

Nathaniel Chandler white, organist at Tewkesbury Abbey is the brother of my gt gt grandfather. Not sure I can  give much more info, but get in touch.  gilly  01256 764889
