Title: The Fry Family
Post by: dutch missmarple on Thursday 09 February 12 19:18 GMT (UK)
Hi all,

can anyone lookup the following family for me on the 1861/1871 census please?

don't know any birthplaces or where they lived, but maybe the combination of names is enough to find this family.

Thomas (1859), William (1860), Eliza (1861), Ellen (1863), Sarah Mary (1864), Rebecca 1867).

Would furthermore like to know who the parents were and when they got married.

Thank you for your time !

William Fry's occupation looks like "Master mason"

1861 indexed as Frey and aged 39 and 37 respectively.  Thomas is shown as Thomas Richard

No additional children but Rhoda is now shown as b London.  William's occ is mason and they are in Feniton

Hi Carole and Suz,

thank you very much!

Will look for the marriage on free BMD. I'm hoping that Rhoda is a Wilson , born in Writtle Essex in 1824.
The age on both censuses looks about right.
Have been looking for her for years! Fingers crossed!
So if that's her I would like to have all information of all important censuses, to make the picture complete.
Will post that request later (if it's her!).

Thanks again!
