CWGC has two entries for J. Macleod, deaths between 1/7/16 and 1/12/16. One is for 3/7478 Pte J. Macleod, 2nd Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders, died 1/7/16 [first day of the Battle], the other for 3/5525, same name, 1st Battalion, Cameron Highlanders, died 23/7/16. Both names are on theThiepval Memorial to the Missing of the Somme.
